With the introduction of the quality inspection form, many things have become clearer, both for production staff and QC inspectors.
Previously, there were discrepancies between what the production staff understood and what the QC staff meant. Open-ended answers, which were open to interpretation, often created ambiguity.
This is eliminated with the use of HeyForm, as the form effectively asks for “yes and no answers”. The questions are cleverly and clearly formulated, eliminating the possibility of interpretation.
The quality inspection form is very user-friendly for users. The form contains several hundred questions, however, the user is only shown the questions relevant to him. Anything not applicable to the specific user is also not shown.
The form evolves as it is completed.
Benefits of working with HeyForm
‘You don’t have to be a software developer to build a form and therefore the system is also very maintainable,’ says Roy.
This is sometimes more difficult with, say, a customized ERP or MRP system.
For VBSC, the added value of HeyForm compared to other packages is that you can run the forms according to a certain flow. This eliminates the need to work with all kinds of separate ‘.pdf’ files.
For VBSC, the ultimate goal of using HeyForm is that quality is raised to a higher level, resulting in fewer repairs and that the right things are checked at the right time.
